Eric Pedersen is a Professor in the Computer and Information Technology (CIT) Department at Dixie State University. He has worked for DSU since 1989. Some highlights of his career include: (a) starting the Center of Excellence for Computer Graphics at Dixie State — grant writing, research, development and technology transfer activities, (b) directing the research and development team that brought online the first web site in Utah, (c) founder of InfoWest —- a successful multi-state Internet Services company, (d) instrumental in initiating, developing, crafting curriculum and helping to grow the Computer & Information Technology Department at Dixie State, (e) founder or co-founder of many successful tech companies including AreaTravel, DevShed, ClearVision, SouthernUtah, 32bit, ForteGolf, CFUSA, Voddov, OnVenture, StockUpFoods, RP3dev, and others, (f ) worked with students to create many successful tech companies, and (g) most recently involved with designing and developing enhanced online student experiences for tech entrepreneurship and e-commerce development courses.
